- I run The Open Arms Haven spiritual and alternative therapy centre in Grays, Im a clairvoyant medium, enjoy physical mediumship, the paranormal, and working on platform. I do work full time in the City as well as running the Haven, so often need a little lie down ! Im very proud to kinow the fantastic team at the Haven who make it what it is. Ive recently started a small business - Inspiral Mediums, promoting emdiums for large one-off events - see my website, www.inspiralmediums.com. - I would be a bit of a fraud if I didnt believe in psychics and the afterlife seeing as I run a centre lol. Im a clairvoyant, and have seen spirit on several occasions. Regarding the life forms from other planets - never been lucky enough to experience this, but heard enough from people whose views I respect who say they have - also its too much of a coincidence for us to be the only ones, surely ?

As many of you may know, I run the Open Arms Haven in Grays - we are a modern spiritual and alternative centre, based five mins from Lakeside/Grays station. We are open every Sunday, and have a different medium every week, plus stalls, tarot and card readers, healers, and loads more ! Probably one of my strangest Spirit experiences !
I would like the share one of the strangest experiences I have ever had with Spirit with you. At this point, I have to explain to you that my husband, whilst believing in Spirit, is very scared by it, does not like me talking about it, and will not let me give readings, or have readings done in my house. Visitors to the Open Arms Haven in Grays on Sunday the 22nd August were treated to a real surprise in the form of a visit from top TV medium NICKY ALAN. The Haven's scheduled medium was unfortunately taken ill shortly before they opened, so Haven organisers and mediums Jay Gage and Ryan Saunders were standing in with an evening of clairvoyance. Just after the service started, Nicky arrived, and joined them on the stage, to give a fantastic demonstration of mediumship for the Haven's visitors.
Both Jay and Ryan were trained by Nicky to work on platform, so they joined her in energy-packed "double links" where both mediums connected to the same spirit person to deliver a message together. This is a complicated, and rarely seen practice, and the audience found it really exciting.
As a result of the evening, Nicky, Jay and Ryan will be working together to present a special Christmas charity show. Details will be posted soon, and all visitors buying tickets for Nicky's show for the Haven on the 10th of October will receive a discount on tickets for this special event.

Nicky will be working with the Haven to raise much needed funds for South Essex Rape and Incest Crisis Centre, who provide invaluable services for women and young girls undergoing sexual violence. Based in Grays, SERICC offers various levels of support, from telephone counselling through to supporting rape and incest victims in court - this is a much needed charity, whom we are proud to support.
For this very special night, the Haven has hired the Thurrock Rugby Club, which is just near Blackshotts roundabout in Grays, so is very easy to reach. There is a licenced bar (club prices!) and ample free parking.
Tickets for this very special evening are £15.00, with all of our profits going to SERICC.
Please do help us support this essential service, and let me know asap if you would like me to hold tickets for you - and if so how many, as they are selling very quickly !

Thanks for your message. I'd love to meet up at some point and get a chance perhaps to meet with some mediums. I am working on my assessment criteria at the moment so that I can have consistency when interviewing different people.
My focus is very much on the background and experience of the mediums, rather than the veracity or 'proof' of what they do. I did interview a number of mediums several years ago but lost the papers and I think, in retrospect that I lacked the age and insight to be able to structure the interviews correctly. I think one thing needs to be made clear. I am not intending to write a book 'proving' that mediumship is genuine or false. Thats for each individual to decide. What I do want to do is let people see the drivers and forces in life experiences that made that person into a medium and gave them the world view that they hold today.
