Have you ever wondered what a chakra and aura healing session would be like? A School of Life Studies Student shares what it was like from beginning to end to do their very first professional chakra and aura treatment. The beginning
Around 30 minutes before my client arrived I prepared the room by lighting candles and a soft fragrance of incense. I prepared myself with a 10-minute mediation to ground myself and to ensure my own chakras are balanced and open, also ensuring my aura was clear of any negative energy. I had already cleansed and charged my chakra stones ready for the treatment in a non-metallic bowl of sea salt & water and placed in direct moonlight the night before.
I like to work with Reiki
music with which I find helps my clients relax, this also creates a very tranquil holistic atmosphere. My client arrived a few minutes early, I greeted her with a warm welcome and asked if she could fill out the treatment form – I used the one that came with the course material
I then proceeded to explain to my client what Chakra and Aura healing was, I noticed my client’s aura was slightly muggy looking around her left hip area, which shocked myself as I have been practicing trying to blur my eyes etc. and not had much luck before to see people’s auras, I didn’t get a colour, so I do feel I need more practice on seeing auras. Health Benefits
I explained about the health benefits of the therapy and explained about the 7 main chakras that we would focus on and which parts of the body they relate too. I then explained that I would be using a dowsing pendulum on each chakra to see if they are open and balanced, this will assist on which chakras need attention and in what order, I did this by using the method over my clients hand, My client had a look at the crystals and which are linked to each area, I asked if she minded the crystals being used, which she was happy too.
